Callum knows its a bad idea to get involved with an employee but he can't seem to stop himself when it comes to Sarah-Jane. What will happen between them?This is a great story that will draw you in from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.
I enjoyed this book minus the POV. I was not a fan. It seems less personal when it's like that. And for me it made a huge dent in my review. But other than that this was filled with extreme pleasure. I was seriously intrigued. There was never a dull moment. The book was seriously erotic. Even though it ended the way it did, it still left me with questions. I wish this was written in a different POV and that is was longer. This had the makings of a fantastic book. Not that it wasn't good. But unfortunately I wasn't in love with it. I will admit it was nice to have an H that didn't flaunt his floosies. He was just a lost man that needed the love he found in Sara-Jane.
I enjoyed this book. The characters were interesting and the story line was good. I couldn’t put this book down until I finished it.
Wow! Talk about rough waters. This is one spectacular read that's as riveting as it is captivating and keeps you on the razors edge from start to finish. Lulu totally nailed this bad boy 100% on point. Written with such realism it really pulls this little gem to a whole new level. This is one action packed, hard hitting, pulse racing, heart pounding, nerve racking, page turning bombshell that brings everything roaring to life brilliantly. The main characters chemistry is intense, white hot, off the charts explosive. The characters are complex and believable with such depth and individuality it's easy to relate. The scenes are so graphically detailed and descriptive you have no trouble picturing each scenario as they play off one another perfectly. All the drama, uncertainty and suspense increases while tension spirals. Twists and turns abound with unexpected circumstances that make for one thrilling experience. Lulu has really stepped up the game when it comes to imagination, insight and how to weave a story so tightly and realistic it blows your mind. This little dynamo will take you to your knees one second and standing strong the next just to rip your heart apart. A rollercoaster ride of emotions and events that really pull those heartstrings. You feel everything the characters feel. You become part of the story instead of on the sidelines. Remarkable job Lulu, thanks for sharing this little treasure with us.I received a review copy of this story.
I don't think there is a romantic storyline Mrs. Lulu Pratt could not write, and do it superbly. Callum and Sarah-Jane have three things in common; where they work, having their heart broken and their undeniable love for one another. He's a billionaire as well as the owner of the company (Boss). Callum has his sights set on Sarah Jane to be his Valentine, will she agree? Sarah-Jane had her boyfriend of four years, leave her, to begin again in New York City without her. Following their Journey makes you feel like you are right there with them. Claiming His Valentine is very realistically written; the angst, frustration, and the incredible chemistry between them draws you right into this beautifully crafted storyline. I highly recommend this book to romance readers everywhere, as I know you will be as engrossed as I was from cover to cover.  I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Claiming His Valentine in exchange for my honest/voluntarily given opinion and I highly recommend reading this book as well as anything written by Mrs. Pratt. She is an Author at the top of her craft and never disappoints her reader's.  I, personally, cannot wait to see what she releases for us next.
"Claiming His Valentine," is a really sweet, romantic short, by Lulu Pratt. A sort of one-night-stand, no-strings, a two-wounded-souls-finding-salvation-through-love, an older man/younger woman and an office romance. Although, it's a rather short read, the characters really blossom, along with the plot, so that they resonate and are easy to identify with. Sarah-Jane has only been with Black and Associates, for a few months, but she has caught the eye of the rather attractive CEO, Callum Black. Sarah- Jane was recently dumped by her long-term boyfriend, as he went "to find himself in the big city." The breakup hit her hard, and she was still reeling from the pain. Callum didn't DO relationships, so Sarah-Jane was shocked when he proposed a date for Valentine's day, no strings. A swift moving romance, with a bit of drama and angst, and just enough steam, to get your heart a-thumping. A delightful read. I received this book as an ARC and I volunteered this review.
