These pocket editions are great. In fact I wish they made it in the hardcover size but with that pocket editions cover. Its kind of like a glossy soft back like a laminated feel. It's awesome the issue of the the print being so small have to wear the old glasses. Rest assure that me being indecisive like I am I got a softcover at a hardcover. Truth is I like this pocket version better and feels better. It feels like you can do some damage to it and not really mess it up.. In other words you don't have to watch every little move with it, it will survive..
Exactly the same as the larger book page for page but smaller print. If you're able to read small print or have good glasses/magnifier this is a good way to go
Not only is the APG full of cool new options, but he Pocket Edition is awesome! I wish all publishers would do this. Not only is it cheaper, it is SO much easier to carry around.

I love that these come in a small paperback form now. Its so much lighter, and takes up so much less space at the gaming table. The Advanced Player's Guide is a great resource for new races and classes to play when you've gotten bored with the basic ones.
