The story is good and flows smoothly just like with the previous books. Lots of actions and interesting plots that it makes the book not boring to read. The relationship is also slowly building which is good but I have one point that I don't like and maybe the only reason that I will stop reading this series. What I don't like in the RH department is that the two guys - Terrance and Nick - who were involved in the first book up to this one are still not included in the harem and there are hints that they will not be included. It's hinted that Terrance only has familial relationship to Nora and Nick Gorgeous is only a friend. Which is a shame because in the very beginning these two characters have chemistry with Nora. And instead there are new characters in book 2 and 3 that immediately added to the harem - Rook and Illren. It doesn't mean I hate the added characters. I adored them both but if this continues in every book, I feel like the RH will become cheap in a sense it feels like collecting man in each book. This is the reason I gave up Godhunter series because you're not sure who is included in the harem and in each new book, there's always a new guy character introduced, like when is enough? To be honest my favourite is book 1 and it's all because of Terrance. He's very protective of Nora. He's the first one to care for her and offer her home and when it's hinted that it's only a fatherly affection. I'm super disappointed. I will not read the next book. Maybe I'll wait for some spoilers first if ever Terrance and Nick will be included in the harem but if not I'm going to just drop this series. I don't want to fall in love with the characters and then will learn they will not be included in the harem. For sure, there will be added new female characters to be Terrance's and Nick's love interest and that will really suck. The reason I love RH is you don't have to choose but I don't like RH like this with potential guys not included in the harem. It's just the same with love triangle books.

This book dropped out of nowhere, catching me by surprise and making me have to quickly reread the other 2 first!! While I’m not a fan of the long time between releases, I can’t complain too much as the quality of these novels proves that tune is used to the fullest. Not only do I adore Nora Jacobs, I am quickly falling in love with her harem of supportive men - and those that have befriended her! If I could put 6 stars here, I would.Pros:- Nora: Her bada$$ persona comes from her heart and soul, not to mention the things she’s overcome. She’s not a sword wielding savant or a powerhouse of offensive magic - she’s a girl who uses what she’s got, loves all she can and is learning to trust, not only in herself, but her family.- Rook... he doesn’t play as strong of a role in this novel as in book 2, but he’s still fantastic- and so honest.- very well written, first person done right.- Nick: how can a character who is not a love interest be so bloody sexy?!- Plot progression.... this is a slow moving narrative, though each book is filled with action. The over arching plot is gently layered as the chapters pass.- exceedingly slow burn RH, if you are looking for more than emotional heat with intense kisses, then this is not the series for you. These characters are given the chance to grow- and fall in love.Cons:- next book???! 🥺

This series just keeps getting better. Nora's men are so interesting and diverse. Not to mention Hot. And if all that wasn't enough this is set in Detroit and I happen to live just north of 8 mile, the northern border of Detroit. The thought of a Troll living under the Ambassador Bridge is just too much! I love that Norah is adjusting to physical touches and the idea of a harem with her men. And Illren? Wow, send some of that this way! I am really looking forward to the next book in this series, there is so much to explore with their clan. I hope Terrance's home is really large with the rate Norah's harem is expanding. Enjoy! 💚💜💛💙

Hooked from beginning to end. Everything Nora thought she knew about herself has been turned upside down and sideways. I love how who she is, kind of, redefining what everyone thinks it means to be Fae. At the end of the day Nora is just Nora, she’s not going to change who she is just because she found out what she is. And her man adore that about her. I also love, LOVE her new addition.

I have fallen in love with this series! Nora is strong but still vulnerable. The guys are alpha and protective but not overbearing. The relationship building is fantastic. There is humor and action too. This book just came out arms I'm already impatient for the next one!

This book took the cake for the entire series. No lie and no doubt the character development in this novel far surpasses the first two. The building of the worlds and races in this book is amazing. Definitely read if you want keep in mind this is the third book in the series.

The writing team of Jackie May has done it again. The only problem is waiting for the print version. I always buy one for my sister, who also loves the series but does have a Kindle (she won't get one).I'm not going to say much.about the book but in this one we do learn more about Nora's heritage. If you haven't read the first one start with it and then come back to this one.

This was such a good book!!! The plot and ongoing storyline is strong. We get answers too questions and we see the relationships starting to develop and get stronger. There were some really cut interactions between Nora and her men in this book. We get solid world building just like the other two books. Overall this book was worth the wait and really hope the next one is also.
